Total length of the trailer

Hi,

I am trying to secure a storage space before picking up the trailer (2017 28DSBH) - it is extremely difficult to find a good spot in good location in SF Bay Area. I see that the 2016 model was: Exterior Length 32' 9".

2016 White Hawk 28DSBH | Jayco, Inc.

I assume that the 2017 model is the same length. How is it measured? Hitch to bumper? I am looking for the total length including ladder / spare tire as the space available is 33 feet.

Thanks!

I did an Internet search on my Jayco fiver by model number and model year and found several sites with the info I was looking for. Include "specs" in your keyword search and you should find what you're looking for.

Also, to be completely sure of your length, I would measure the outer most point on the back, (i.e. ladder, bumper,) to the futher most point on the front, most likely the hitch, if going into an enclosed building. Don't forget to check the overhead as well

Thanks. I sent an email to Jayco. I searched a little bit online, but I could not find confirmation on the total length of the trailer.

Even if it is ball to bumper (or even the spare tire), most likely 33 ft space won't work as I will use Propride hitch and it adds to the length as well.

Thanks!

I had dimension questions regarding door locations/measurements prior to ordering my trailer. I called the the Jayco CS number and spoke to one of the sales managers. They were very quick to send me a dimensional drawing of the trailer with all the exterior measurements. Overall length in the drawing included hitch and rear bumper. It was the same as the overall length on the website

They do not include the spare tire in the overall length. And this was important for me as the storage space was 33 ft. The spare tire makes 32' 9'' trailer a 33 ft+ trailer.

It's close, the ladder may go beyond the bumper. Here's a pick of my Jay flight. I can't really tell if the ladder goes beyond the bumper in my pic.The spare tire and mount remove pretty easily for storage.

Total length is hitch cup to bumper. Mine measures 35' 8". The box measures about 32' 6".

www.NADA.com will help. Go to RV's and find your trailer. Gives length specs. But, it doesn't show 2017's yet. I would imagine they measure the same.
