Great you all escaped serious injuries and that you were so close to home. Look at this as an opportunity to replace the camper with one that has all the things you promised you'd get next time. And hopefully a chance to get a Ford! LOL

Not sure yet. If we do I think the new 338RETS is the one I like best. really like that floor plan.

Tired of the floor plan. We wanted a 3 slide larger trailer. Jayco stopped making the unit I wanted in 2012. So we bought the Cougar. Then they turned around and started back with a 2014- 338RETS which was what I wanted, in the first place. We'll see.

Actually it is quite simple. We hit a patch of "black ice" under the new fallen snow. I felt the steering go limp and then saw out of my side view mirror the trailer swinging around me. The trailer swung my 3/4 ton Dodge Ram around like it was a toy. When the trailer broke loose it flipped on it's side blocking 2 lanes of I-75. The truck slammed up against the cement railing. The State Police later reported 8 different accidents in a 1 mile stretch of that section. I was going 40 MPH in the right lane when it happened.
