At minimum you need to add 60lbs for the propane and whatever a battery weighs (30?). So roughly you are at 1050, which is over the 1000 lb bars you have. 1200 lb bars should handle it. What did your dealer recommend? I have 1200 lbs bars for my 314BDS. (drytongue of 950). My dealer said the 1200's should work.

Bouncing? What kind of bouncing? Like the kind of bouncing which can be caused by the joints on concrete roads that make the trailer oscillate up and down in a rhythmic fashion so that in your tow vehicle you feel like you're riding a horse? Can you tell us more?

Maybe a nice set of Bilsteins truck shocks would help, along with tweaking the WD hitch, if you mean the truck feels like its bouncing or "porpoising" as I`ve heard it referred to.

I agree the current bars on the WDS are too light. They need to be 1,200 lbs bars. Bilstein truck shocks will reduce "ease of" up/down movement as well. I'd upgrade both of these items.

I have 1200 lb bars for my 256rks. i believe it is a tiny bit lighter than the similar G2 model.

Jimbob.... I can't remember what t/v you have, but our tongue weight loaded is just over 1000lbs. We have the 1,200 bars for our Equalizer Hitch. Our truck doesn't really bounce, but we met a service tech with the same set-up but put some kind of air bag in his rear end and it hardly bounced.

The bouncing you are getting is from the rear kitchen (the weight) you need to make sure the inside weight is equal by moving more of your personal belongings to the front. I would also get Bilstein truck shocks. After that if it still bouncing then upgrade Equalizer. What are you pulling it with?
