Towing Mirrors

Good Afternoon all.

We recently purchased an X19H. I have a 2007 F150 and am in the throws of the internal conflict of do I purchase the clip on mirrors or purchase the telescoping models from the dealership ($$$$$) I have only pulled tent trailers before and have never had the need for them. I understand K Source makes a really nice clip on model . My mirrors, like my locks and windows are all manual ... (do I even really need them ????) All of our trips this year are going to be within the province (max 4 hours) .. Thoughts ??? I won't be travelling alone unless the wife decides it is time for me to leave for a while.

Regards All ....

I also tow with a 2007 f150 and yes you need tow mirrors as the standards dont give enough behind especially when backing. I went with the CIPA slip on model and love them. Literally takes 30 secs to put on or off. They are adjustable and i have no vibration in them. Got mine at camping world.

Nevermind. Thanks for the information. I have "special" side mirrors on my truck and have contacted CIPA directly to see if I can find a part. The 81800s do not fit on mine. Product reviews look great though

I also have the CIPA slip on model for my Avalanche. Really nice and as msnyder stated they go on and off easy and fast. I have not noticed any vibration either. I went to the CIPA website to check on the model then did the Amazon thing.

I have been going back and forth between the CIPA and FIT mirrors for my 2011 Silverado.
Anyone used the FIT models?

Bought the CIPA mirrors for my F150 from Amazon. They had them on sale for $36 pr with free shipping. They work very well and I am very happy with them.

Check out the e-trailer mirrors! $50 shipped to your door. Tight fit but a bit of manipulation and they fit nicely! This was for a 2011 Sierra.

I used the fit models and they almost look fully stock. So far so good.
