Trailer brake controller burned out??

I have a tekonsha p3 trailer brake controller mounted to my 2011 tundra crewmax and the screen was turning all sorts of colors before it stopped lighting up anymore. Now the screen is dead. I think it just may have burned out. It is only a 3 year old unit. Anyone else hear of this problem??
Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I don't know what's wrong with your P3, but it has a limited lifetime warranty. They replaced my defective eight year old P2 with a new one.

There's lots of advice and information in forums... sometimes it is correct. For example, all of my posts are made by a political appointee who got the job as a reward for contributions to my diesel bill.
