Edit: I see you're talking about the hitch itself. I use a locking receiver pin from andersen. I had the reese version before and it didn't last long before the lock stopped working. It also shimmed up to the right size which isn't as strong. Solid pin gives me peace of mind.
I use one of these. Used to use the yellow one on my car trailer but this one's beefier.
I've also bought other reese products and they all have the same key... so keep that in mind.
Lots of good ideas, but any lock made can be removed in just a minute or less if someone really wants your stuff. Locks work well for us honest guys though.

Sold RV.... downsized to a 6x12 cargo trailer with Starlink and mini-split A/C. Easy to tow at 1200# - real happy now.
I use a bitch lock. But also use a cable lock, thru the spokes of the trailer tires so if someone smashes off the hitch lock the cable lock will keep the trailer from being towed But if someone is determined. They will steal it
Amazon link?? :-) Gotta be an intricate little dude of some sort...and risky!

This is why I always look for cheap but effective.
To a battery powered angle grinder my home made $10 battery box lock is equal to the $150 "battery shackle" at camping world.
