Trailer Jack Question

When you park the TT in the dr-way or at the campground, do you park it with the dolly wheel on, lower it to ground w/out dolly wheel, put a wood block or other under it, use a Jack Foot. Mine is too low to attache the dolly wheel while TT is still hitched to TV. So I have the jack tube lowered and sitting on a 8x8x12 wood block. Dealer recommended not using the steel Jack Foot because he has seen wind catch the side of a trailer w/these on the jack and it skidded the front end of trailer around. Input please. Thanx

LBL1206-- I also use a wooden block, tough to roll the solid wheel in the dirt anyway. Larry

Thanx Larry, yeah I think I'm making too much of this. That tongue weight seems to have embedded the tube bottom into the 8x8. Think I'll continue w/this as you are doing.

Thanx,
Terry
