Having trouble with LED awning lights that will not come on. 2018 Jayco Hummingbird. Worked fine when purchased. On last trip in the Fall, tried to change colors with the remote control and lights went out. Could only get them to flash on by using interior light switch. Replaced battery in remote to no avail.
Talked to dealer for trouble shooting. First checked fuses for awning and lights; both good. Had me roll awning out a foot. Then use remote only to turn on; ignore switch inside. Nothing happened. Finally flipped interior switch and again they flash on and then off.
Setup an appt to take in while under warranty. Friend thinks it's the switch.
Hate the idea of waiting 2 wks to take in, they can keep for up to 10 days, and then pay $75 service charge. I want to hit the road; this is my only problem.
Anyone have a similar experience and/or suggestion to share?
