Trying to figure out the plumbing

First RV so it's all new to me. I'm wanting to sanitize my fresh water but I can figure out where to drain the fresh water tank. I found the 2 low point drains but because of the size that's not how to drain the tank. on the other side of the trailer there's a valve right next to the dump connection which I would guess is the black water. next to that are 2 valves and on the side of the trailer it has 2 labels that says grey tank. one is in line with the line for the gray water drain and one goes under the trailer and I can't see where it goes. Is the valve that goes under the trailer the fresh water drain and does it drain out the dump connection? The trailer is a 2013 Jayco eagle 266rks

Mine is outside the trailer almost directly below the fresh water fill valve. White valve. Looks like a water cooler valve almost.

It says in the specs I have a 82 gallon fresh water and 65 gallon grey water. Is there one tank for each? I have 3 pull valves on the dump side, does that mean there are 2 grey water tanks? I’ve been through the manual and it wasn’t very clear to me.

Two fresh, two gray, and a black sounds right. If you upload pictures along the bottom we'll help you identify each valve.

The 3rd and 4th photos are your fresh water drains; 54V6 and ZEWA. Pretty sure the 1st photo shows the black tank drain handle on the left and the grey tank pull handle on the right. The last photo shows the hot and cold water low point drains, the handles for those will be inside in the approximate location where the hoses exit the trailer.

Always drain the black tank first and use the grey water tank to rinse the hose. The black tank should remain closed until the tank is at least 2/3rds full.

Just a quick google search says one tank each. I have no idea how accurate this is, but...

Holding Tanks
Number Of Fresh Water Holding Tanks 1

Total Fresh Water Tank Capacity 82.0 gal.

Number Of Gray Water Holding Tanks 1

Total Gray Water Tank Capacity 65.0 gal.

Number Of Black Water Holding Tanks 1

Total Black Water Tank Capacity 32.5 gal.

I just noticed there is another handle in the first photo showing another pull handle. The lower one might be for your second grey water tank in the rear of the trailer. Do you have a rear kitchen?

Thanks, I was expecting the fresh water drains to be bigger, in the first photo the black handle is on the left but on the right side there are 2 handles, are they both grey drains. Sorry so many questions, I'm 68, 69 in a couple of months, just retired and this is the first RV. I can't begin to tell you how many YouTube videos my wife and I have watch. It's all been fun so far, I just don't want to leave a big poopsie as I've heard it called. lol

That's also what I found, so I don't know what the extra pull valves are for. It's in my yard now so I can't connect the hose and pull the black then the other 2. I don't like surprises.

My trailer is a 266RKS as well...the RK meaning a rear kitchen. I have 2 32 gallon grey tanks...one in the rear and one adjacent to the black tank. My documentation with the trailer never mentioned a second grey water tank, just that it had 64 gallons of grey water capacity. I didn't notice the second grey valve until our second time using the trailer.

Both grey tanks use the same drain pipe which is a huge advantage because the shower and bathroom sink tank connected to the bathroom always fill up the fastest. When Boondocking I just open both grey tank valves and the water in both tanks will balance out, giving me much more capacity..

Thanks Lee, that makes sense with 2 drains, when the specs said 65gal grey tank I was thinking it was 1 tank. You can't see the tanks with the insulation. We were just out Rt66 last month in the car on the way to AZ, UT and CO doing the National Part tour. I love it out there, beautiful country.
