Turning Heater on in Hummingbird

Hi, new to our Jayco Hummingbird and new to this forum...I can't figure out how to get the heater going in our 2019 Hummingbird Murphy Bed. Any help would be appreciated. I know I have propane as my stove is working.

But no heat coming from furnace.

TIA

One possible solution is the thermostat is not being pushed hard enough towards the on position. It is hard to push and feels like it is going to break. Most of us have had that problem and have replaced the thermostat with a simple digital one from any of the big box stores. There is also a very good group on Facebook for Jayco Hummingbirds with lots of info specific to them. Congrats on your Bird. We have a 17RB and have really enjoyed it. Good luck, let us know how it turns out.

The previous response goes along with my experience. The switch on top of the thermostat is way too hard to move.
For what it's worth unless you are in a place with no shore power and are forced to use the heater, don't. A small electric space heater is generally more than enough and doesn't use your propane and battery. I test my built in heat, but use a portable electric one to stay warm.

Thanks, I did end up using a portable heater and it worked fine. I will just stick with that. Thanks for taking time to respond.

I had difficulty with our on/off switch thinking I was going to break it. You have to put some pressure on it to move it. Wasn't impressed with it maintaining an even temp either. I replaced the OEM thermostat with this Honeywell. https://www.amazon.com/Honeywell-TH1...%2C180&sr=8-24

Alot easier to operate and more accurate. Real easy to install, just make sure you don't let the wires slip back into the wall.
