TV Audio on 25RKS - Connecting to Radio?

Fellow RV'rs - I have a 2013 25RKS which has the television mounted in what is essentially a cabinet door. What I have found is that the speakers on the television itself are on the bottom and are behind the door frame inside the cabinet which makes the sound quality pretty poor. My Jensen radio is mounted directly below the television cabinet and I am trying to figure out the best way to connect them so that I can run the television audio thru the radio.

Looking at both units here is what I found. Television has no "audio out", only has a headphone jack. Radio does not have any "audio inputs" on the back, just an aux input on the front.

So...what I see as my only option is to conect from the television headphone jack to the radio aux input on the front. Not going to be pretty but I think that it will work out.

Any of you out there doing something similar or have another suggestion?

Terry

It's the only option we have and it works well. I was very impressed with the improved TV (television) sound through the TT Entertainment System.

....and if you find a nice quality 90 degree end stereo miniplug cable....let me know! The straight plug style is really what makes the hook-up look hideous.
