TV Audio thru radio speakers

Hey All,
So in my Jay Flight 28BHS I have the radio/CD/DVD player with inside and outside speakers. When I play a DVD no issue with sound coming through the speakers just set the radio to HDIM mode. When I am watch my DirecTV I am not getting sound. Do I need to connect RCA cables from audio out on the directv receiver to the audio in on the radio and select the TV audio mode. I have the receiver connected to the TV with HDMI cable.


Also there are 2 modes on the radio. TV audio and TV audio 2.

The HDMI cable from the Sat receiver to the TV should provide audio from the TV speaker itself. If you want the audio on the onboard RV speakers you would need AV / RCA cables from the receiver to the input on the radio.
