TV for our Unit

We do not have a TV yet and I was hoping to not have one however to keep hubby happy....
We have a corner cabinet in our TT but wanted to know if anyone has tried mounting a very slim model on the back wall of the dinning table.If so what size and make I am sure that does not make a difference. Also what is involved in connecting to the internet when we travel to we have to go a special area on site or can we connect from our spot So much to learn so little time

If "WiFi" is available at the RV park, then you just need the proper "log-in" to connect. Access may be free, or there may be a charge involved.

We purchased a 22" flat screen w/stand and placed it on a corner cabinet area where power & a cable TV connection was. It works great ! If your mounting on the wall I would recommend a TV mount that would allow positioning the TV for maximum viewing options.
We are planning to do that in the Mstr Brd with our 19" since the TV cabinet is at a higher level, and we need to tilt it downward for viewing correctly.

The weight of the TV is critical when mounting on wall. The lighter the better.

Ken, a wall mount is nice as you can use the cubby for storage.... the one thing I would suggest based on the kink in my neck when I go to watch tv, is where on the wall to mount.... ours is installed (factory) pretty high up on the wall. It does have an ajdustment arm. The problem with it being so high is that from the dinette, I am almost looking straight up (I like to sit there so I can play on computer on occasion when the tv is on). From the couch, I still have to crank my head up, but not as bad. If I could have asked to have it installed lower, it would be perfect. The one disadvantage to lower on the wall means that anyone sitting on the wall side of the dinette has to be careful so as not to hit their head. Could be difficult for that same person if the tv is on and the sound is in their ear. But for us who mainly travel alone w/out the grandkids, I would opt to have it lower if could. Let us know what you wind up doing

One thought when you buy it Get the Extended Warrenty We are on our second TV in 9 months. Good Luck

Measure the opening in your cabinet to make sure you get one that will fit. We bought a 19" LCD and set it in the corner cabinet, when we travel we lay it down in the cabinet on a blanket and secure it with a bungee cord. FYI don't get a Plasma TV they don't do well when bounced around in a TT.

I second that Plasma avoidance. Not recommend when towing !

Plasma's are very sensitive to movement... STAY AWAY from them. Stick to an LCD

Ours has a factory installed TV ... although I doubt we'll use it much as we generally don't bother with hook-ups. Now, that being said, I was impressed in the driveway when I tried it out - found I could watch the FIFA games clearer in digital, over the air format than I could in the house using Cable! I think a good, flat LCD mounted on an arm would be a good addition if TV keeps the man happy!
