TV wall mount

Just curious if anyone has tried this wall mount in the bedroom of your TT?

I mounted a TV on the bedroom wall with a mount like the ones in the links, different brand. Also put one of these on the back of the TV so it would drop into the articulating mount. That way you can quickly install or remove the TV if desired.

I just put this one in my TT this morning, it looks exactly like the one you are asking about, but about half the price. Folks on this forum recommended it, and it seems pretty well made.

Keep in mind you may have to add a 3/4-inch solid board to the wall first and then attach your TV arm to the board. The RV walls are pretty thin and may not support much weight.

This idea is used by alot of folks to support the moving arm. You can paint the board to fit your wall decor...

I like the idea one post did where you can remove the arm center piece and take the wall mounted HDTV from the wall very easy for storage when in travel mode if you think you need to do that.

It looks just about the same doesn't it. I have to install mine in the front bedroom, on the side wall that runs along beside the bed. Does it extend out far enough, and turn towards the head of the bed? How about tilting? Does it tilt down pretty good? My bedroom wall has a place where it says "mount tv here". When I tap the wall there, there appears to be a block of wood in between the wall and the outside. Thanks to all for the info.

That`s the one I used as well.

Also our TT had a sticker on the bedroom wall indicating where to place the mount. It is reinforced there inside the wall. But I ran the screws through the wall into a additional piece of plywood hidden in a kitchen cabinet on the opposite side of the wall for good measure.

I don't have that luxury, as mine is being mounted on an exterior wall. My TT came with a 32 inch LCD mounted in the living room. It is mounted on the wall that separates the living area from the front bedroom. The wall appears to be standard thickness as all the walls. It seems to be pretty sturdy, as the mount has 4 screws in it.

Can you tell me the distance between the mounting screws? I have a 29RLDS that I just picked up yesterday and I need to mount a TV in the bedroom. The sticker is on the wall but I want to make sure the distance between the screws will hit the reinforced area behind the sticker.

Can't tell you the distance between screws exactly, but it fit just fine. ( I am not where the TT is right now). The board behind the wall is actually bigger than the sticker. I used 1 1/4" lag bolts and it is very secure
