two questions: awning/sewer
Two questions:
1) I have a few tiny holes in my awning. has anyone used that flex seal stuff to repair that, or is there something better?
2) I will be parked at my parents for a while, can I run my sewer hose into their sewer clean out pipe?
that is supposed to be picture of awning, don't know if it worked

Sewer question is easy; Lots of people use their clean out to dump while at home.
Awning; bit harder to answer. I have no experience with Flex Seal. Personally I would not risk it. There are products on the market designed just for this purpose. I keep a kit in my TT all the time. Unfortunately it is still in long term winter storage. I did a quick search on Amazon "RV Awning Repair Kit". Found lots of options,
I like the looks of this item; https://www.amazon.com/Trailer-CAREF...670402&sr=8-11

As for your awning, I used this and it works great. Expensive to cover large areas though, hard to tell how big the area is in your picture. I would apply it to the underside after cleaning it with some rubbing alcohol first. That way it keeps some of the suns rays from damaging the patch.

If you use some type of tape I would recommend putting it on the top and bottom. If you put it on one side only the adhesive will want to stick through the hole and stick to the awning while rolled up.

Get the awning tape from Amazon. It's clear and you can u se it on other stuff because it is strong and very sticky. We used it to repair the screen in the door.
Yes you can dump into a home clean out. I do it at home with a septic systerm. Some people will tell you it will overwhelm your system. Hasn't happend to me yet. We have a 1000 gallon septic tank.

X2 on the clear Gorilla tape. I used it last year to repair places on my awning and still going strong. Stays flexible and doesn't yellow from the sun.

Sewer
Add a wye adapter to clean out this will extend your clean out and give you a straight drop down for your RV. Lowes and home Depot has parts, Male adapt to screw in existing, pvc nipple to wye, may need to extend up, caps for top and clean out and female adapter for clean out plugs. Mine is in the main line in the flower bed. Sticks up about 4".

If you're on city sewer than should be no problem. Where I live we are on septic and I've read that that could be troublesome dumping 30+ gallons of black, not sure about dumping the grey too. Anyone have any comments on this?

I **just** applied Gorilla Clear UV-Resistant tape to our pinholes. Just as in, three days ago. A roll was $6 off Amazon. I figured I'd try that first.
Cleaned the awning (soap, water, then denatured alcohol) before applying.
I'll let you know in 12 months whether it was worth it!

Let me know! I am thinking I probably didn't clean mine well enough after reading all you did!
