Underlayment(bottom) board pulling loose

Last two trip, the bottom board pulls from beneath the three screws that connect it to front cross frame. Drops down 3 or 4 inches. Last trip I upgraded screw size and used a 2 inch flat washer to hold bottom board in place. Same results. Am thinking of putting bottom board in place, then attaching a 6 inch piece of plywood to frame, covering the connection, then undercoating wood. Anyone had and solved this problem? Unit is 2012 Jayco Eagle 298 rls.
