upgrade bath faucet.

I know many of you folks have done this already. Does it just require any standard household bath faucet with a 4" offset? Any special connectors required underneath? I wanted to pick something up this week around home and bring it to the trailer this weekend. I don't have daily access to the trailer as it sits on a seasonal site 130 miles from home.

Thanks in advance!

Yes any 4" faucet should install fine. On bath you should NOT need anything additional.

What he said. Same as house. We went with a moen with the swiveling neck. This is probably one of the first things we swap on a new rig. I used to have quite the collection of new rv faucets.

I did a similar mod as Stormpod1. I had to shorten the water lines in order to connect the faucet and I did install shut off valves for future convenience. Sharkbite type fittings are great for this type of mod.

Thanks for the info folks. The DW was eye balling fixtures at HD the other day, but I asked her to hold off until I got confirmation of the type required. Now I know thanks to you! Any standard 4" spread fixture will do it.

Might as well pop for the kitchen faucet while you're at it. We did both a few years ago. Wanted to do the shower, but no room. There is a higher quality RV model out there and I put it in. I like it but can't recall the brand off hand.

Bath Faucet

Might think about kitchen faucet also. In our 16 Eagle that faucet would open to the on position while traveling!

Thanks. I'm good with the kitchen faucet for now. I actually like the pull out sprayer. I'm seasonal and rig doesn't move, so no worries about traveling faucet issues.
