Upgrading from a Jayco Popup

Well, it's official. The wife and I pick up our 2017 Jay Flight SLX 265RLSW on Cinco De Mayo. Does anyone else have this unit? And if so, what TV are you using? We intend to use our '15 Ram 1500 Bighorn.

Congrats on your upgrade. We did the same in 2010 from a PUP to a 2011 26RLS. Floor plan was the same as yours except we had the tub/shower combo in our bathroom. We loved all the windows especially coming from a PUP.

We did get three footitis in 2013 and purchased our current unit. It is still a rear living model but has a lot more storage.

We just up graded from a pop up to a 284bh SLX and cannot wait to get out for a week. We tow with a 2014 f 150 and it does not seem to work hard towing it.

I bet! We loved the canvas, but the benefits of a TT will be appreciated.

Never had a pop up but I we did have a hybrid for about the longest year of my life. Glad that thing is gone. Enjoy!

We upgraded from a FR Palomino popup this year. From the trend of comments on this thread, there must be a lot of used popups for sale.

We finally just sold ours 2 weeks ago after having it listed on CL all winter. Didn't get what my wife thought it was worth, but we just wanted it gone - still made $500 more than the dealer offered in trade.

We sold ours on CL in about 2 weeks back in February. We made out okay. It was a leap of faith though since we hadn't finalized the paperwork on the new TT at that time.

I never understood the appeal of the hybrid since you still had bunks and canvas to deal with if it rained the day you packed up. But, if you don't mind it, it's all good and camping is camping!

Same move in 2016 to a 27 DRLS (same Floor Plan)
Tow with a 2013 F150 Eco Boost which pulls it great but have to really watch payload weight so I want to upgrade to a F250 this September when the new models come out for the extra payload capacity so a can carry more junk around that I probably don't need to.
