Used 2016 Jay Feather 25BH

I am looking at a used 2016 Jay Feather 25BH, that looks like it's in good condition (haven't seen it in person yet) but what can one expect to pay for a used model.

I see used 2018 models on RV Trader for between $19 - 20K, but I have yet to receive the quote for the 2016 model so I want to know what I should expect. It seems to me that new units "can" have some pretty good wiggle room in the pricing but I don't know what to expect for pre-owned.

Thanks for any help.

There are a few variables that will determine price but I think $19-20k is very excessive even from a used, retail standpoint. You will need to factor in the options like 13 vs 15k AC, thermal package and the elite package (which adds a few thousand $ retail over the base model). With winter approaching (practically here), I'd suspect prices to go down. To give you some perspective (if it helps) my 2013 26BH is listed at $9,500 and I've had very few people call on it in a month.

Does the 25BH only come with fiberglass siding? That may account for some higher cost. There is a 2016 on RVtrader listed in CT for $18k....still a bit high for this size trailer IMO.

That's the unit I'm looking at!!! On the dealers website the price is crossed out... I must've had some "year filters" on when I search and got the info for the 2018 models earlier.

I guess we'll see what they quote but I thought the prices seemed a little high.
And Jayco isn't offering this model new anymore (it moved to a 27BH), so it's hard to compare...

I had an opportunity in January 2018 to buy a new 2017 25bh for $18,000 with thermal package and 15k btu AC. I'd think $13k for a 2016 would be reasonable.

For what it's worth, I paid $16,800 for a 2017 26bhsw in January 2018. Weight is similar to 25bh but has aluminum siding. But it also has 3 inch higher ceiling and plywood floors vs the composite. It's worth a look if you like the floor plan.

Thanks for the info everyone... the dealer dropped the price to just under $17K and it sold before I had a chance to talk to my wife about it.

The hunt continues..........

A fool and his money soon shall be parted. Don't be that fool as the one who bought the camper you were looking at.

We just bought a 2008 23B.
I saw them listed anywhere from 7000-10000. Saw camping world sell a couple they had listed high, like a 2007 for 8500, etc.

We spent about 6-7 weeks of actual legitimate looking, I was on RV trader, craigslist, RVUSA, and looking anywhere within 800 miles drive.

Finally found the 23B we bought for 7600 and that included the WD hitch from a private seller an hour away so no dealer fees and such nonsense.

We didn't "steal" it, but I think it was a good deal, and was a cash deal for the seller who a week prior said they could not get down to 8000. Cash money offers change peoples minds fast.
