Utility Outlits?

In my breaker panel, there is a breaker that says Utility Outlets. I was wondering if this is for my outside outlet(plug). Tks for the help. Appreciate it.

What TT do you have? Do you have a 30 or 50 amp service?

Typically the outside outlet is tied into the GFI outlet in the bathroom.

I suspect it is for all the regular outlets inside and outside the TT.

In our unit, only the microwave, water heater, and AC, have their own dedicated circuit breakers.

The simple way to find out what outlet(s) the breaker powers would be to turn it off and plug in an electrical tester, lamp or fan into each outlet to see which one(s) do not have power.

Makes no difference 30 or 50. All outside outlets are on the GFI circuits with the required inside GFI circuit. It is any outlet that is within 6' of a water supply to include any outside ground level storage area as well as KIT, dinning, and baths per the NEC. Utility seems to have two meanings. One is usually the 2nd circuit of outlets not on the GFI circuit. The other meaning is whatever piece of equipment they choose to hook it to. I have seen it being the fireplace/microwave which will include Latching relay for both as well as other things.

Right you are, the ground fault controls those plugs.

Tks for the help, appreciate it.
