valve stems

I'm upgrading my tires from D to E rated tires. The tire manufacturer wants the valve stems upgraded also. The trailer is a 2017 whitehawk 27 reks with aluminum rims. Does anyone know the diameter of the holes for the valve stems?
Thanks For any help
Jack

That’s a very odd question coming from a tire retailer. They would have a number or variety valve stems on hand to install. Valve stems don’t change drastically until you go from a 80psi tire to a 110psi.

The tire dealer should know which stems to install.

I would go ahead and use metal stems on the trailer, shorter the better to prevent debris from damaging.

When I bought mine, they came with a plastic gasket/ adapter that allowed them to fit which ever size hole you have. They should last the life of the rim.

You say tire manufacturer and not tire dealer. Is this something that you are doing on the cheap and buying from somewhere else and then having someone do the mounting and balancing?

If not, the tire dealer will know what size the hole in the rim is just by looking at it.

My Son-in-law was able to get me tires at wholesale from his shop but they don't mount tires. A friend will mount them for me. I wanted to know the diameter so I could order the stems and my friend didn't have to worry about it. That's all.
Thank you

The manufacturer of the wheels should be stamped on the wheel. Try looking for them on-line and see if you can get the hole diameter , if you haven't tried that already.
