Vent covers

Does anyone have any suggestions on what to use to cover the outside heater vent refrigerator access cover and water heater cover to keep wasps and mud daubers out when the TT isn't being used? Thanks.

Camco makes insect screens that can be installed and left in place even when in use.

As Grumpy noted, Camco. They make several sizes of screens for RV furnaces. If you have a newer Jayco, you may also have an Atwood AFM/AFS/AFL series furnace, and the cover may not be available in stores yet. The other day I stopped by our local Camping World store and picked up a set of screens for the Dometic refrigerator on our new 23RLSW, too.

don648 We use dog flea collars. We place small or cut pieces of tick and flea collars in the area each spring and that keeps the creatures out for the season.

Thanks for the ideas. Camping World is about 5 minutes away from me, I'll see if they have the furnace vent cover and get some screen for the others.

I just removed the cover and used insect screen from Home Depot to cover the opening, secured with aluminum tape, and reattached cover. Alot like the link provided earlier. Really the only place you need(or is helpful) those expense pre-made screens are for the heater; everything else you really can do nicely on the cheap yourself.
