Virgin needs directions

Knew I'd get your attention.
I've never owned or towed a TT and I'll be picking mine up this coming Wednesday. My TV is a 2005 Sana Fe 2.7V6 which has ample capability for my 154BH. My question is 'do I tow in overdrive or should I use the manual shifter? If u think this is a dumb question, ask me what others I have?????? Thanks in advance, Peace.

Not a dumb question, just means you’re thinking! I would avoid towing in overdrive. The only time I might consider OD is going down a long long hill. OD drops your rpms way down and will put undue stress on your engine’s crankshaft. With enough lugging you may join the 2 piece crank shaft club.

Do you have an OD off button or a tow haul button? What are the mountains like where you will be going? That camper may not weigh a lot, but it will be a big sail behind you.

IF your transmission keeps hunting for a gear then switch the OD off..
