Ok. The dealers do not do that. Nor do we. That is unless we are going on a trip.

I bet your unit in snow country sat on a lot with nary a push broom unless it got over three feet.

2013 Jayco 145 bh, walk on roof?

We have a Jayco 2013 bunkhouse 145, my husband is planning on putting new roofing on it and was wondering about walking on it to clean and resurfacing it. Is it safe?

Yes, but you do have to be careful. Good clean shoes, watch for trip hazards, such as roof vents, ac, or even the garden hose. I put my stabilizers down, first. Wrap my extension ladder, and lean it against the back wall, and just take your time. The roof is flat.

The roof does not look bad, why a new roof? If the is old caulking is bad or a spot of damage, you can use eternabond tape to cover all the joints and nicks.

It is a LOT of work to replace a roof. I taped mine about 2 years ago. I wash the roof at least once a year, ideally twice.
