Want to add second awning

I have a 2017 28.5RSTS Eagle HT. Was built with 3 slides and has a single awning 14’ long. I see the Control Panel provides a switch for a second awning.
Looking to add one now.
Unsure if this would have been attached on the side, running over the slide, or if attached to the slide itself, outward from there?
I have slide toppers.
I am second owner.
Has anyone added an awning like I am intending?
Any recommendations?
Any idea if the option was “pre wired”?
Any idea on “connection points” either on slide and/or trailer wall?
Any help would be welcome!

The 2017 28.5 RSTS wasn't (and still isn't) offered with a second awning.

The control panel bezels are pretty much a "one size fits all" item, with blanks used in place of non-existent switches.

This would be interesting to follow. I have thought about adding one myself. I never will just thought of it.

We bring two easy ups with us. Those awnings don’t handle wind well. If I loose a $80 easy up no problem. If the awning gets damaged it will probably cost more to repair

My Whitehawk has 1 big awning. I would much rather have one on the slide and one above the door. I don't know if there are supports behind the wall to mount the awnings. I would like to change to two. It just seems like a stupid layout having one large awning.
Oh well

What brand of easy up do you use?

I got two Sam’s club brand ones clearance for less than $120 for both a couple years ago. I also have a Walmart ozark trail brand one I’ve had for probably over 10 years.
