Watch DVD on Whitehawk 32DSBH?

I am trying to watch a dvd on the tv above the DVD player in the living area and cant for the life of me figure out how to get the DVD to play on the TV. I have tried changing the source on the TV and the only thing that comes up is the channels picked up by the antenna. Any ideas?

Check the leads from the radio/stero to the TV. My Wh is a 2014 and the cables were standard RCA [red/white/yellow] and the yellow [video] was not plugged into the radio or the back of the tv. You will have to remove the screws and pull the radio out from the cabinet [not a big thing] and check the wiring. Same for the back of the tv. Make sure the necessary jacks are plugged in.

Got mine to work, but decided a $50 LG blueray machine purchased at WW was a better alternative since the radio Dvr was not blueray. It is small and easy to stow in a cabinet when not using.

That was it exactly. Once I figured out how to get the tv loose from the mount, I found that the yellow (video) cable was stuck in a random port instead of the video input where it belonged.

A $50 WW blueray machine still seems to be a better long term solution since the radio [at least the one in my 2014] is not a blueray. Also using the onboard DVD requires a somewhat confusing set of steps to tune to the DVD feature on the radio. W/ a standalone device you can plug it into the tv via an HDMI cable and access it simply by switching the source on the TV. These things are small now and do not take up a whole shelf or cabinet top.
