Water heater / fireplace switch vs Jaycommand

Hello - I've researched this and cannot find anything in my documentation or online. I also called Jayco with VIN and they were unable to answer my question. My 2022 Whitehawk 27RB has both an elec and gas water heater option on the jaycommand panel (ref photo) as well as a "light switch" that allows selection of either fireplace or water heater (ref photo). It is unclear to me how these interact and more specifically how to ensure that only the elec water heater is selected/activated. Any info would be appreciated!

Hi
So the switch allows you either the fireplace OR the electric water heater. NOT both at same time.
Your trailer is wired for 30 amps
Using both would draw Too many amps!
You CAN use the Gas hot water heater and fireplace at the same time.
If you want hot water faster and longer turn off fireplace and turn on the electric hot water with the gas hot water. Thermostat in the tank will control it.
If you are camping where you don't need the fireplace for heat you can use the electric full time provided you are not paying the electric bill on top of your site rate.
