keep having same issue on our QBW212 water heater not lighting correctly.
took it in under warranty, they adjusted vents and and cleaned contacts (piezio) and worked fine at the dealer when we picked up. now same issue again just clicks and clicks. sometimes I can get it to light by 6th or 7th time re-setting the button ?? any ideas ?
thanks troutcamper

Next time try firing up a stove burner to see if propane is there. Once stove lights, turn that off and try water heater. Maybe your lines are leaking and you need the air purged out first.

don't think gas lines are problem, as usually have been running fridge all the way from home to campground on propane.
I will try lighting stove burner to see if it makes a difference tho'
thanks

Sounds like it's starving for fuel. Like something is blocking the fuel tube or possibly a bad regulator on the LP tank. If you carry two LP tanks, try switching to the other one. Could be a bad factory valve on the LP tank as well.
I had a frustrating problem with our water heater on our new trailer that sounds similar. Would light fine and heat the first tank. After that it would not re-light unless I turned it off and let it cool down. It would sometimes relight but mostly not. Ended up being the circuit board that is mounted in the outside panel for the water heater.

I am having a similar issue. Does it light and go out or does it not light at all? Mine lights for about 2 seconds and then goes out it cycles like this 3 times and then I have to reset switch. Usually lights the 4th or 5th try and stays lit. I do notice that even though it lights it still sparks. Going to try a flame sensor and see what happens since it does not appear to sense that it has lit.
