Water Heater - Jayco SLX7 195RB

A fault was found on my water heater and has to be replaced.

Dealer does not stock and says it will take 3 weeks to get from manufacturer (warranty claim).

Obviously a "inconvenience", but does 3 weeks sound reasonable?

Probably depending on what part/vendor. I got a microwave in 4 days

Can you heat water using propane? I had a 195RB and that was the only way to heat water but maybe yours is newer and has an element that needs replaced?
