Water heater problems

I have 2019 slx 264 bh. I'm have a problem with the water heater. It's a propane only dometic 6 gallon. I turn the switch on and it runs fine. After a while it will shut off and the flt light will come on. It stays lit than. Anybody else have this problem?

How long is after a while? < 1 minute could be the igniter/sensor. If it thinks there is no flame, the gas gets shut off. Or it could be a bad control board.

It will stay on till I turn the switch off. I think I have it narrowed down to the control board. Seems to be a common problem. Emailed dometic and of course they want me to take it to a service center. Looking at dinosaur boards. Does anyone have any experience with these?

Yeah Moody! I have a 2019 BDHS, with a 10 gallon dual function water heater, propane and electric. My propane function quit working, with the fault light being on steady. I found some YouTube videos of what makes this things tick. Tested all the fuses, power and grounds with a digital volt ohm meter. Everything tested good. I purchased a Dinosaur electronics board for it, installed it, and problem was solved. When I inspected the factory controller, it was baked! An internal relay had become overheated and swelled the potted portion where it was mounted on the board. My water heater has been trouble free since.
