Water hose RB23

just trying to put the finishing touches on the things we need for our new trailer next week
Does the RB23 have a 1/2 inch water supply or 5/8?
manual doesn't specify

All I've ever seen have a standard hose bib connection. I suppose most have 1/2" PEX plumbing. I just get a 25' white potable water hose and I've never paid any attention to the hose size. Why does it matter?

Campco offers water hoses in both sizes
Just didn't want to get the wrong one or inline water filter

I would get two (2) 25' hose. We found out the hard way some places water connections are not towards the rear of the site.

I believe that the diameter won't make a significant difference. Larger would support a higher flow rate but most TT's don't have really high flow fixtures. A cheap pressure regulator (like the one I have) probably restricts flow also. So even tho I don't think it matters I have 2 x 25' sections of 5/8".

I am looking for the answer as to whether the connection at the TT is 1/2 inch or 5/8"s? for a Jayco Jay Flight RB23
I bought 1/2 inch campco white hose and water filter and then discovered they sell 5/8 as well
not sure if I have to return it

1/2" is fine. The connection on the side of the camper is a standard garden hose connection. The lines inside the camper are most likely 1/2" pex.

Using CG water, I fill my FW tank and then use my FW tank for everything. The restriction of my pressure regulator and carbon block filter is greater than the restriction of a 1/2" hose.

Currently, I have some 5/8" and some 1/2". The 1/2" hose is a bit easier to handle and store. At some point in the future, it will all be 1/2".

Don't over think it. It's just a garden hose. You only need the white hose to keep the rubber hose taste away. In this case, size does not matter.

+1! I've run into this problem more than once. Now I carry a second hose AND replacement ends as well as replacement hose-end gaskets.

+1; the fittings are the same whether the hose is 1/2" or 5/8"; standard garden hose fittings all around. Any Camco white water hose you buy (commonly found at WM or various other camping stores) will fit your trailer's city water fitting.
