Water leak at slide out

07 29bhs. It's raining very hard. I found that the edge of the carpet wet. I found it is leaking at the bottom edge of slide out. Looking outside at the slide out the rubber seal has some of it folded in and some folded out, witch way should it be? If I had to guess the top is where the water is getting in and running down. Any thoughts? I don't have ladder with me so I will have to look closer when home. It looks like its been leaking for awhile. Some of the inner wall under couch is soft.

There are spots on my slideout seal that are folded in and out but so far (knock, knock) I haven't had any leaking issues. I have been thinking that maybe some slide out seal lubricant/conditioner might help it to stay all folded the same direction.

That's not a good sign if the wall is spongy.

I would think that when the slide is out the seal should also be out and vise versa when the slide is in. You might be able to run it in just a few inches and then push it out from inside the trailer. Then run it all the way out.

We have a 2013 Jayco Premier 321RLTS. We have found the edge of our carpet of our small livingroom slide wet. it is also very wet under the carpet on the slide bottom. Just found the carpet is wet by the wall. We have had this in the shop for repair from the 15th of Dec. to the 22nd. At first we were told they could not find the source of the leak when running water over the roof. I told them to keep looking. I had photos of the wet carpet, etc. They told us they found the leak and the slide needed an adjustment, which they did. As of last night, we found it is leaking again. We are having very light drizzle rain and it is leaking. We travel most of the year and now have to go back and have the dealer deal with this. We have had this 5th wheel for less than a year. Also, buying it new, we thought we would not be facing this type of problem. We have had other things fixed on the unit also.
