Water Pressure
I just got a water pressure guage and regulator for my Jay Feather 23' RLSW and am wondering what to set the pressure at. Manual not clear but would assume I want to set it at the same pressure as my water pump which seems to be about 50 lbs. Suggestions?

I have never checked the water pump pressure. I suspect it is closer to 20-25 psi.
Easy to check. You can buy a few fittings at your local DYI hardware store, including a pressure gauge. Hook it up to your outside shower faucet.

I have mine set at 60psi. Most campgrounds we've stayed at have 60psi or lower.

I'd suggest setting it at the lowest pressure setting that still provides suitable pressure for you and your family to shower and do kitchen duties with. If that turns out to be 25, 30, or 40 psi, that's fine. Lower is better in terms of protecting your plumbing. I personally wouldn't go much higher than 50 PSI though. Most preset regulators are set to 50 psi.

X2 Never had an issue and we stay 4 to 6 months each summer. Last two years system pressure was 140 psi regulated down to 60....many who didn't have a regulator had major leaks..
50 to 60 gives great pressure for showers etc...
Good Luck.

Thanks Two edge.
Not much into leaks or messes any more so 40 psi is fine.

My 2017 JF 23RB owners manual says the water pump is 45 psi. Therefore, the city water pressure gauge is set at 45 psi.

The Shurflo pump in our Eagle is rated at 55psi. When we're hooked up to a city water connection I use a pressure regulator factory preset @ 50psi.

Water Pressure
My 2015 Jayco Eagle 5th wheel says 40 PSI in the manual, but the showers are not that strong.

You also need 50 to 60 if you have an on demand water heater. They work real good at that psi.

The regulator I bought is set at 45 psi which seems just right at the shower or faucet.
