Water problems

I own a 2018 Whitehawk 29FLS. The trailer is on a seasonal site. I have use of water hookup, so I don't use my fresh water tank. My problem is that over night my fresh tank would fill, with water coming out of the overflow tube. Can anyone tell me what to look for, that can stop water from going into the fresh water tank? Thanks in advance..

The check valve on the water pump is defective allowing water to bypass into the tank. There are a number of threads here about that and a search of the problem with Google will give you some pointers toward repair.

Been there, had the same problem.

I found that running the water pump a few times, "unstuck" the check valve and cured the issue. It may be that you'd need to do this every so often, just to "exercise" the valve.

Thanks for the advice. I will try turning the pump on. and see if that will work.

You can also add an inline backflow Sharkbite valve, available at Home Depot, simple to install just cut the water line and push the open ends into the valve.
