Water pump and water lines rattling

Does anyone have to listen to their water lines rattling when the pump kicks on? I found the location but they are up under the thermal barrier. Probably didn’t get secured properly. Is this normal or should this be fixed?

I have found the lazy install on the freshwater pump is not screwed down.

Normally, the pump should be accessible (for replacement/repairs) by unscrewing a wall in the cargo area. You can either use an old towel under the pump to help quiet the sound or screw it down.

Good Luck...

Thanks! It is actually more the lines than the pump I’ve found.

If you can get at them wrap them with pipe insulation.

I had to install an accumulator tank to quiet mine. It was around $40, and took less than an hour to install.

Accumulator and Silencer lines

Shurflo makes an accumulator and a silencer line kit the worked wonders for me. I tried all kind of trick suggestion from youtube, but the accumulator and silencer lines worked the best.

I found that after I drained the entire system, including the hot water tank, it removed the air in the system; I refilled leaving faucets open and I was amazed on how quiet both the pump and the lines were after that. It it is actually the pump or the physical lines, see the suggestions above.
