Water pump question for a 2017 26BH

How loud is the water pump supposed to be in these new travel trailers? I'm kind of surprised at how loud this one is and how much it seems to vibrate. It seems to have good pressure. Another question: Is it normal for the water to pulse in the same rhythm as the water pump?

I know these sound like silly questions, but the water pump on my 1206 pop-up was fairly quite and the water flow was smooth.

In our last coach the pump was *loud*. So loud, I worried that it would wake the next door campers.

Look on youtube for some videos on steps people take to silence things down. But bear in mind, some of the noise could be the pipes vibrating against walls, studs, floors. That'll be tougher to fix.

Other folks have replaced the common Shurflow branded pumps with another brand and had good results.

Some pulsation is common.

Thanks for the reply, but my question was premature I guess.

I ran the pump for a couple of minutes after I posted that question and it smoothed out and got almost as quiet as the pop-up pump and the water flow smoothed out.

I guess I should just put things through the wringer before I ask questions.

I do need to find that water leak coming from the tanks, though.
