water pump switch

We have a 2012 26rls with 2 doors. The water pump switch is in the rear. There is none in the bathroom which is toward the front. Can another water pump switch be added in the bathroom? We have to open the back door turn on the pump and then open the front door to get to the bathroom when the slide is in. Then we have to go back to the switch in the back to turn it off. Our 2001 Jayco Eagle fifth wheel had a 2nd switch in the bathroom. So nice!

This can be a very easy mod to make if you use a RF remote relay. Just connect the relay to 12 volts and the pump and use the remote key fob to turn the pump on and off. No snaking of wires through your rig required.

Just make sure the relay is capable of at least 10 amps. Most pumps pull around 8 I think.

My water heater has a switch on the water heater that can be used also. Take a look at yours.
