Water tank overflow

I have a 2015 Eagle 32 ft RETS which has began to overflow fresh water through the water fill port when connected to a camp water supply. We have used the trailer as much as a month at a time without incident until a month or so agowhen the water tank began to overflow. This would indicate a back pressure valve in the fill line with trash in it. Being under warranty I took it back to the Crestview Jayco dealer at Buda Texas. They kept it about a month, advised me it was fixed. I drove the 50 miles to discover they had never touched it. SO - I will tackle it myself.
I removed the plywood shield under the sink to expose the fresh water pump and manifolding. I could not see anything that looked like a back pressure valve so I closed the fill valve which isolates the water tank fill to prevent the overflow when connected to a hydrant.
Now I ask for help in locating the back pressure valve or other suggestions to fix the overflow problem. Thanks.

I would be screaming mad at the dealer for not fixing it... Now call him and give him the option of sending a tech out to replace the water pump or paying your fuel and time to haul the trailer back to him.
(OK don't scream at the dealer that wont get you anywhere just let him know how upset you are)

I have had to fix 7-10 things myself for this very reason. Including the entire front window seal- by myself! The dealers tell me they "don't have time" to work on it, and it may be 30 days before I get it back. HELLO...I'm living in it....fulltime. Where do I live while you guys park it in the rain and let more water damage occur? Fix it yourself I say.... Good luck!

PS> Screaming doesn't help either...I tried that too...lol. They just hang up on you...hahaha...

Some of these dealerships make car dealers look like saints.

If I were in your position, I would contact Jayco. You will need your VIN when you call. I would tell Jayco about the issue you are having and about the issue with the dealer keeping it for a month and not doing anything. Poor dealers also reflect poorly on Jayco even if they have no responsibility for the poor customer service. Poor dealer support can also play a part in someone buying SOB of trailer due to dealer reputation in a region. Jayco may be able to give you another option for warranty work. Whether it be another dealer, or an independent shop that may be closer to you.

Someone is never to old to learn some Techie things. We got manuals of everything, if it is not with your unit it is on the WEB. If you rely to much on the manufacturer and dealer camping can be less pleasant. Just imagining you're in the middle of an ocean and only have a few spare parts and some collected miscellaneous. Are you getting things going again or are you screaming for help while no one hears you?
They say you are never to old to learn and some will say; some are to lazy to learn.
Self initiative works for me! Complaining to Jayco a RVer really should do it is really necessary.
