We just upgraded to a 2018 32bhds.

So just traded up my 25bh to a 32bhds. Anyone have any problems with one?

Congratulations!

I'd say the biggest issue with ours has been water leaks from the plumbing. Things have been stable for a while now but early on one of the supply side fittings to the outdoor sink was leaking into the bunkhouse. This cost me an afternoon at the lake on the maiden voyage doing repairs. A couple trips later supply side plumbing under the main kitchen sink leaked and destroyed many parts to the base cabinets. Supply side fitting to the toilet should have leaked sooner as it was cross threaded on but it started to leak as well.

Looking back I suppose that I should have gone through every plumbing connection right after I had the first leak myself. Warranty covered what I didn't already fix but the whole thing put a bad taste in my mouth. My local dealer was great, had my eyes opened by jaycos engineering and build quality and certainly now I realize how the entire rv industry has raced to the bottom as far as the customers, potential, experience with the quality of the products.

Wow this sounds horrible now that I've re-read this! I don't mean to be a Debbie-downer. Now that the bugs have been worked out, I've made several helpful mods and had many, many great trips in our camper I still love it

Enjoy yours, look around hard and do whatever preventative maintenance you can and carry spare hose clamps and a nice set of tools (true for any make and model)!

Most importantly use it and enjoy!!

Nice to hear your input, the 25bh I just traded in was the same. I picked it up last January and the dealer could not put water in it as it was freezing out. I took his word when he told me everything had been tested and was good to go. After a month on our seasonal site I woke up to a wet floor in the bathroom, almost every water conection was leaking in the trailer.

This time around I will be spending much more time during the PDI at the dealer. I will be pulling panels off and looking at every inch I can.

Other thoughts truckerjt,

Watch your weights carefully. The toungue weight can creep up real fast on this TT. Defiantly bring your rig to the scales, take your time and weigh it three times as mentioned in other posts.

If you are planning on boon docking you should consider upgrading your batteries. I went with two 6v Trojan T-105's.

Magnolia Tom started a great (one of many) mod to the ceiling vents for the ac. I did this mod as well and, here in Southern California, it definitely helps. Oh and I only have a single ac unit.

Cheers!

I also only have the 30amp single AC. We are seasonal so only have to tow it from the dealer to the site, about a 2hr trip all HWY. it will be empty so not to worried about the weight. Long as its some what balanced right with nothing in it I should not have a problem with sway.

I find mine tows great and it did when empty. I have only had 1 small issue with the thermostat so far. We love the layout and the kid loves his bunkroom.

What hot water heater do you have? Regular tank style or Girard?

Hello! Do you charge the T-105s with the stock WFCO controller? Or have you upgraded that?

I assume you have the flooded rather than AGM? I am concerned about sinking $400 into this because Trojan recommends charging at 14.4 V, which isn't going to happen.

Any thoughts?

I have two T-105s and charge them on the factory inverter. I always take a battery charger with me to use if I want. I also have a second bank of 2 12 volt interstate batteries that I can run. They are the batteries that came with the trailer.

Can you confirm (have you confirmed?) that they run at 13.6 V to charge and 13.2 V to float? Seems to be the WFCO way...

Also--anyone know how I add the signature showing my TT and TV models? Seems like it would be useful for future posting!

If it has the tankless Girard, I would test it numerous times before heading out.

Mine had the flame sensor touching a meta heat shield and it caused all kinds of faults and freezing showers. Super simple fix.

Do you have a controll panel above your toilet with a digital readout? I not you probably have the standard tank style, and be glad you do.

When mine works perfect its not as good as a tank style.

Nothing above the toilet digital control in the hall way outside the bathroom but pretty sure it's just for the furnace and ac.

Hi Jhaan, sorry I missed your question about the converter. Yes I do still have the stock wfco 8955pec. I'll probably swap it out with a progressive dynamics unit in the near future. And yes the T-105's are flooded. Since I've installed these batteries I haven't done too much boondocking so I haven't been too hard on them.

Sure am glad that I made the change!

Cheers.
