We like dark

We like it dark in our bedroom, so I made some shades.

Great idea! What did you make them with and how did you install them. Do you have pics from inside?

We did that also. Went to the fabric store, bought some decorative material for the inside and blackout material the outside. Then hung them with expandable curtain rods.

X2 means "times two". He was agreeing with your question, indicating he had the same question.

I have a roll of Reflectix, which is bubble wrap with aluminum foil attached to both sides. It has insulating value as well as sun blocking value. Our windows are tinted from Jayco, so you don't even really notice it from the outside. Works GREAT!

Thanks for the edit. I see no way to do that myself, even right away.
