Many of you have seen my post in regards of rear kitchen travel trailer. I have received many response & advice on the forum and a few privately and we decided to bite the bullet and to make an offer tomorow on a new Jayflight 29 RKS. According to Jayco its going to be a 2019 .

We also decided to go with aluminium side wall. I like the shine and to be able to repair it myself , on top of that its cheaper :-) The fact that the fiberglass wall on a Jayflight arent vaccum bonded play a big role, its maybe me but the fiberglass glued to a wood frame is not my cup of tea ... but hey its probably ok...

So we are crossing our finger , hopefully we will get a decent trailer , if not you will hear me ;-)

If some of you have a 29rks , can you share your real tongue weight ready to camp without all the tanks full

What color did you go with? We just received our 29RKS and Jayco decided to change the colors and choose which one they would send. We ordered brown leather and received grey suade. That was only the first of several issues upon delivery.

sterling microsuede ..... so you received my trailer lol I saw it only on a bad picture we are taking a bit of a chance .... did you get a 2019 ? apparently the decal changed ...i dont want to offend anyone here but Im hoping that we wont see the whitehawk blue stripes :-) would you mind and only if you can to post pictures of the interior and decals if you received a 2019 built please and congrats for your great choice of trailer

See photos attached. We do like the color. Just wish it was leather. Dealer is supposed to be looking into replacing th decor. Countertop is a pressed laminate without the t mounding. They also added the tv mounting bracket to the bedroom and exterior.

) Good idea for the countertop no more ugly seam opening and closing according to the weather , thanks a million for the picture its really appreciated

This sterling will be great we are getting a bit tired of the brown leatherette in our trailer :-)

Whats nice is that Jayco went back to Dexter axle since Feb 2018 .... personnally when I can stay away from Lippert for axle and suspension Im happy , good luck with it and have a great season :-)

My 2015 29RKS's tongue weight is just under 900 pounds ready to camp, tanks empty, full propane, one grp24 battery. Measured with a sherline scale.

What is pressed laminate ? I was in that business for 40 years and never heard of pressed laminate. Looks more like Solid Surface but can't really see details.

And vacuum bonded means nothing.. actually pinched rolled is better but can't be done easily on curved areas. Side walls are pinched rolled.
