You are going to be so far over the payload with that set up I'd be worried. We have a Tundra and a 28BHBE and are slightly over and it is several thousand pounds less than what you have. So I have no suggestions here.

That's a lot of trailer for a Tundra. Do you own it already? If not I suggest you keep shopping. If you already have it, I can't help. There a couple folks around here towing heavy, knowingly exceeding the tundra's ratings, but may be able to offer suggestions.

Welcome!

You are also missing information, is this a crew cab or standard cab, 2wd or 4wd? You might be OK if this is 2wd with a standard cab. And this assumes your payload is high enough with that cab configuration. But even then you are going to be right up against your limits.

I predict a 3/4 ton for you in the near future.

We have had the trailer for a yr now . The TUNDRA has no issue as I have a 5.7lt 6 speed transmission and 4:10 gears . My concern is the size of the trailer and the weight distribution kit they included which is not a dual cam distribution.

We use an E4 on our setup with the Tundra and our 28BHBE. Towed very nicely.

The potential issues aren't related to the engine, tranny, or gears. The issue is that you are undoubtedly over the payload limits of that truck (assuming you are carrying anything other than yourself). May or not be a problem for you, but the axle and brakes aren't designed for that much weight. Capacities according to edmunds:

I don't have an answer for your question, but I'm commenting because I saw a fairly new Tundra 4x4 Crew Cab pulling the North Trail equivalent of a Jayco Jay Flight 32BHDS (your triple slide is probably even heavier) at a campground Easter weekend. He obviously had a stout weight distributing setup and I assume aftermarket shocks and air bags, he wasn't sagging. So while it's certainly possible to roll down the road in that rig, I personally wouldn't risk the wear and tear on my truck or the possibility of problems in crosswinds etc.

To each his own and good luck finding the answer to your question.
