Weights

Well, I had some free time when I picked up my camper today and decided to get some weights. Here goes.
Burb and trailer in tow configuration

WD bars unhooked

Burb by itself

Weight placard on door

Weights were with full gas tank and myself standing on the front scale. Only thing missing is about 375# of passengers in burb and about 150ish# food/clothes in camper

It looks like I'm over total weight right now. And close on the drive axle. Am I reading it correct? It took me about 30 min to do the three passes at the scales. I got lucky and was the only one getting weights...

Thanks y'all

Yes, you are correct. Do you know what the GCWR is of the burb? That number will represent the maximum combined weight of your vehicle and trailer. I would recommend you increase the amount of weight distribution from your bars. You need to push more weight to the front axle and to your trailer axle. I have always found the dealership never puts enough tension in the bars.

I asked the dealer what my VIN was set up for and they told me 14000. I see now w/ the weights u can put some more up front so I'll work on the hitch set up next weekend.

My camper is a 2105 28BHBE, so I'm about where thought I would be for trailer weight, and I knew I was cutting it close in total weight.
