Weird City Water connection issue

Hey everyone,

I'm new here and glad to find a Jayco community.

I'm having a weird issue when connecting to city water to my 2013 Jayco White Hawk. No water would get in the RV, but instead the water splashes all away from the city water inlet.

I disassembled the city water inlet and disconnected from the pipe going in, and the valve seems to be working, so I'm assuming it might a check valve inside the RV.

Has any of you ever had this issue? Any idea what that could be or how I can locate the other check valve inside the RV?

Thank you all,
Francois

The only check valve is where the hose connects and it is to stop water from coming out when using the pump.
