Welcome home 28BHS!

I was actually surprised too when we picked up our 28BHS back in January that there was 2 grey tanks shown in the control panel. We have the thermal package so I can’t see the tanks.

When I was picking out the slide topper for our unit, they gave me a copy of the dealer spec sheet for the 2018 28BHS, so I thought I would share. It has a few more specs than the Jayco website in case anyone is interested.

Cheers!

Duke

Very Nice, Thanks for the drawings. With the 3 they show in the drawing and the extra 2 for fresh water tanks the bottom of that trailer must be lined with tanks. .

We are just as excited as you for next week to get here, can't wait to get it and repack all our stuff in the new camper.

Tanks, tanks everywhere!

I hope the weather turns around next week for you guys to bring yours home.

We still have a lot to bring over from our pop-up (which we can't open yet). So until the weather warms up I'm kind of at a stand still.

Water in outdoor kitchen

Hello. I have a 28bhs. We just took it on it’s first trip! We noticed after 2 days that the outdoor kitchen had lots of water inside the compartment. All the decorative wood started to peel and looks horrible. The wood was soaking wet. Has anyone encountered the same issue? Solutions? It does not seem as if the water lines were the problem.

Wow that’s not good. I have not had anything wet inside there yet. Did you notice anything when you did your walk through or do you think it’s new?

We did not. Our walk thru happened when there was still snow on the ground. So we never put water in it. But we didn’t notice a leak the on the first or second day of camping. The dealer says there is no drain for the fridge so the water that accumulated there could have overflowed and caused the water. They have no answer at this time for the water.

It’s not the fridge... I would talk to your dealer it’s not right. Sounds like a leaking waterline someplace.

I’m hoping to unwinterize our 28BHS this weekend, I’ll keep an eye out in the out door kitchen area for leaks.

We are hoping to de-winterize this weekend as well. So we will keep our eye out for leaks in that area as well.

Thanks for the heads up!

De-winterized today. Only leaks I could find so far is the outdoor kitchen sink drain and the outdoor shower hose where it screws onto the faucet. Snugged them up and good to go now.

Thank you Carlamacewan for the posts and diagram.

I too was wondering about the 2 Grey tanks and hopefully this sheds light on my curiosity.

I have the Jay Feather 29QB and have also asked Jayco for the diagrams and allegedly are coming soon.

Enjoy your unit and Happy Camping.

You are quite welcome, hopefully you get yours soon.

It only took a day for me to get mine (I think I got lucky!)

Enjoy your camper and happy camping to you as well
