What are these in my Atwood oven?

So I looked inside our never-been-used Atwood oven the other day and found two metal strips just floating around the bottom, not installed or connected to anything but giving me the distinct feeling they belong SOMEWHERE in there. I obviously need to crack open an owner's manual but does this sound familiar to anyone? Are these part of some minor final assembly that dealers/owners are supposed to do? Sorry I don't have pics yet to help answer the question...

Okay,

Here they are. They are as long as the oven is deep, and they look like brackets of some kind with two screw holes on each end, but everything in the oven seems to be in place and it lights just fine. I checked the owner's manual and there's no reference to these...

Are they the same height or width as the oven? They look like trim pieces to go between the oven and the cabinet. It could be they come with the unit and Jayco does not use them - or left them off.

But I'm guessing.

That could be, they certainly don't seem to have a mounting spot inside the oven. They're definitely not as wide as the oven, and I'm not sure if they're as high. They are as deep as the interior, however, almost exactly. Any other theories out there?

Be careful when cleaning the inside oven door. DW cut her finger severely on the lower inside door metal lip cleaning up after making pizza. It is just like a razor blade, cannot believe it does not have a rolled edge. Filed and sanded off the edge.

My honest opinion is, they have nothing to do with the oven. But, who knows. I've never seen them before. Then again, I've never really looked for them. Hmmm..

They look like they are powder coated.

My first guess. They are one side of a drawer glide.

Don't pitch them yet. I'm gonna look at my range.

I think they may be a side filler piece for the left and right edge of the microwave. They are not installed on mine but look like they could be if needed to dress the opening up.

I like the air circulation and did not want to make the back air tight.

Agree, they look like drawer glides to me.

I also agree they look powder coated, and nothing or around the oven is powder coated that I can recall.

My first thought was drawer slides as well. Pull one of your drawers out in the kitchen and have a look to see if they match.

Extra Pieces

Would check and see if they are extra microwave brackets.

Thanks everybody. I'm going to store them because the moment I throw them away I'll realize where they go. But for now I think most of the theories here are spot on - they don't belong anywhere inside the oven.

They do resemble drawer slides. maybe you could get a good close up picture and send it to Jayco and see what they say.
