What grill to buy

I'm looking to buy a new camping grill. Does anyone know what grill will work with the propane system already on the camper?The one I have now does not work due to low propane pressure. I would really like to utilize this option and due away with those green bottles.

Expect a different answer from every post. Most are gonna either recommend the Weber or the Coleman Road-trip (which I own). Both are easily adaptable to the trailer’s onboard propane. Also, both have their advantages and disadvantages. The Weber will take up less room in a pass-thru if that’s where your gonna be keeping it. Either one will cook a delicious meal.

Wondering why you are getting too low of pressure. I use my 35,000 BTU grill directly from my camper quick connect. Are you still using the grill's regulator?

You would need to remove your grill regulator. That might be simple or it might be a little more difficult. . . Not sure what grill you have or what your grill looks like or is how it is constructed. The connector may just connect securely directly to the fitting where you remove the regulator, or you may need an adapter. That would be true, no matter what grill you own or purchase.

I made mine a little easier by adding a quick connect on the grill also. I had to go the local propane company with the grill (actually a picture of the connector on the grill) and the hose. The sold me an adapter.

I know a lot of people may disagree, but I have had the same Vitco RVQ for 17 years. Still looks and works great, although not the hottest or fastest, but good even heat. I put an aluminum griddle on it to cook breakfast and we grill burgers and steaks all the time too. I clean it really good a couple times a year but typically get away with wiping it down with bleach wipes.

I bought it new with my Jayco Qwest popup in 2002 and have used it at least 25 times a year since. No problem with my connectors on my Jay Feather x17z.
