What is this????

What is the plastic thing on the ceiling left of the smoke detector? (Picture is rotated 90* left)
Looks like so something snaps in there, like a remote or something. Hopefully the pic came through....
Thanks!

Should not be for carbon monoxide detector as they should be mounted down low.

In my TT, the CO detector and smoke detector are mounted right next to each other on the ceiling from the factory. My propane detector is within 12" or so from the floor.

Looks like a bracket from a CO or smoke detector to me.

Interesting. My co detector is also by the floor in the kitchen. We bought ours used and it was missing the smoke detector. I could not figure out what it was that should be there so I went online and looked for the same model for sale and the interior pictures in one of the adds showed the smoke detector. Try going that route.

It's a used 07 31 bhs? Propane gas alarm mounted near the floor.

The previous owner may have mounted a smoke alarm.

Could be for a cradle for a wireless motion detector / alarm. The original owner could have kept it parked near their house and tied in to their home alarm system via wireless.
