What is this for?

We purchased our 2018 Jay Feather x213 a week ago and are currently on our shakedown cruise in snowy Tombstone, AZ. These cleats are on the ceiling of our rear slide and I have been unsuccessful at figuring out what they’re for. Any info would be appreciated.
Sorry the photo is rotated, I can’t figure out how to turn it. Thanks.

Well I don't know maybe a grab handle to help get in and out of bed.

But anyway welcome from Alabama.

That is the great mystery. This question has been asked many times. I have never heard an answer.

It would be great if you contacted Jayco with your vin number and ask and post their response.

I had guessed this once before on another thread about this. I "think" they are for mounting the bunk end fans.

Is there a 12v plug in the ceiling nearby? These look like they would match the two clips on the back of the standard bunk fan that would normally attach to the shepherd pole on a tented hybrid.

That's all I got.

And welcome to JOF! Once you get an answer to this, stick around and we'll you with all kinds of good opinions, er, information.

Or maybe they're for helping you walk down the hallway after you've tipped one too many!

We had those in our first popup. We used them to hang one of those hanging storage bins to store extra stuff in. They were great to have.

Snow in Tombstone! Wow!

They're used to hook a 12 volt fan/light to. You can get them on Amazon

I was told by our Jayco dealer when we bought our X213 that that clip is for one of these fan/light combos:

I have considered getting an RCA type DC plug and creating my own light and/or fan combo.
