What is this part?

Hello,

I bought a lot of items for a new solar setup. The trailer is currently with the installer and he asked me what this part is? I have no idea, as I just provided all of boxes with inverter, controllers, etc. and most of them were not open.

Do you have idea what this could be? The manual for inverter is only a background for the photo.

Thanks!

Do you know what box it came out of?

It looks like it has an antenna?

If you have the order info, you could look at the components online, and see what is included in each box.

Sorry for not being more helpful.

Thanks!

Would it be possible that this is part of Sway Command that the dealer uninstalled and left in the trailer?

Wireless remote for the inverter would be my guess.

It looks like a wireless repeater or sending antenna. Does your controller have any wireless options like a charge monitor or anything like that? I have something similar on my TPMS to boost the signal to the receiver in the truck.

I have controllers for the inverter and the charge monitor, but as far as I know those are wired...

Just another thought - I had TST 507 (with the sensor that go inside the wheels) still in the box. Maybe this is repeater for the tire pressure monitoring system, which I did not order, but I read some people got it without ordering...

Looking at the TST website, it does look very similar to one of their repeaters...

My question would be where to find an installer who knew what he was doing.

No numbers or marks that would help to figure this out.

The installer knows what he is doing. I would not blame him for not knowing what I am providing for installation.

I think it might be a thingamabob for the doohickey.

Seriously, can you give us any additional clues? What all did you provide to the installer? Charge controller, generator auto start and so forth. Maybe some model numbers might help too. Inquiring minds want to know.

I provided all components of the solar / electrical system: morning star charge controller with remote display, Magnum inverter with remote controller, solar panels, lithium batteries with all necessary accessories, etc.

I left also a box with TST 507 tire pressure monitor system in the trailer. The box was unopened, so I do not know whether repeater was included - definitely I did not pay for this. It looks similar to the repeaters from TST website, but is a bit different.

Thanks Guys!
